Bio
Tawnia Brown Design was founded by Tawnia Dugan in 2012, to create interiors that people can be proud to call home. From a young age, she was intrigued by space planning and beautiful objects, naturally a career in Interior Design seemed eminent. While studying at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco, she interned under Ann Getty and Associates and worked as a Design Assistant at Josephine Fisher Interior Design and Personal Assistant with Jennifer Nagle Interior Design. After graduating, she worked as an Assistant Designer at the iconcic design firm The Wiseman Group. Shortly after her second child was born, she resumed work with Jennifer Nagle Interior Design as an Assistant Designer working on large custom homes in the Napa Valley. Being well versed in all aspects of design has allowed her to collaborate with other designers and architects. Working in a small residential firm allowed her to wear the many hats she desired as well as work on projects for her own clients. Tawnia currently resides in Petaluma, CA with her husband and three children.
